Admin tools
Behind-the-scenes tools for setting up and repairing the system. Day-to-day texting never needs these.
Admin password
These tools need the admin password (the ADMIN_SETUP_SECRET setting in Vercel). It isn't saved anywhere.
Maintenance
Update database structure
Creates any missing tables and columns. Safe to run anytime, for example after an app update.
Rebuild the inbox
Recalculates the inbox list from the full message history. Use it if the inbox looks out of date or wrong.
Sample data (testing only)
Fake conversations for trying out the inbox. Blocked in production unless ENABLE_SAMPLE_CONVERSATION_DATA=true.
Add sample conversations
Replaces any earlier samples with a fresh set of example messages, including an unknown number.
Remove sample conversations
Deletes only the sample messages. Real messages are never touched.
